Questions & answers
What's included?
2 × T-post target hangers; 2 × Grade 70 chain (3 links) + Grade 8 carriage bolt & locknut. The hardware is included, so there's no hardware-store run; you supply a standard T-post.
How does it attach to a T-post?
It slots over the top of a standard steel T-post and seats against the nubs. Gravity does the clamping, so nothing bolts to the post and there are no welds to crack. The target hangs from the chain in front of and below the post top, with the slight forward lean that sends spatter into the dirt.
Do I need to buy a T-post?
Yes, one standard steel T-post per hanger; 6 ft is the sweet spot. Buy it at any farm or hardware store, since posts cost more to ship than they're worth. Drive it 18 to 24 inches deep, nub side toward the shooter, so it doesn't wobble.
Why a Grade 8 bolt?
The 150-ksi bolt spec matters: soft hardware-store bolts shear under bullet-impact torque. The kit is a 1/2″-13 Grade 8 carriage bolt with a locknut, plus a 3-link section of Grade 70 transport chain.
Which targets does it fit?
Our 1/2″ AR500 targets. The carriage bolt goes through the target's 9/16″ square mounting hole from the front and through the end link of the chain, and the locknut snugs down on the back.
Is it made in the USA?
Yes, it's made in the USA.
How much is shipping?
A flat $12.95 per order in the lower 48 states, and free on orders of $99 or more. Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territory orders ship at the rate shown at checkout. We ship only within the United States.
Can I return it?
If your order arrives damaged, email photos within 48 hours of delivery and we'll replace or refund it. For everything else, see our refund policy.
